By purchasing a Booklover Weekend ticket, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Your Ticket Includes: All items listed on the sales page at the time of purchase.
Cancellations & Refunds:
30+ Days Notice: If you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat, Fabled Bookshop & Cafe will attempt to resell your ticket to the community.
If the ticket is resold, you’ll receive a refund for the amount you paid, less a $75 processing fee.
If the ticket is not resold, you’ll receive 50% of the ticket value, less the $75 processing fee.
Less Than 10 Days Notice: No transfers, reselling, or refunds will be allowed for cancellations made within 10 days of the retreat.
Ticket Transfers: Tickets can be transferred to another attendee. See below for details.
Weekend Changes: The itinerary, accommodations, and other retreat details are subject to change.
Assumption of Risk: By attending, you assume all risks (including injury or illness) and agree to hold Fabled Bookshop & Cafe harmless.
Introduction
This Agreement, referred to as the “Agreement,” is made between the Booklover Weekend organizer (“Organizer”), specifically:

And you, as a participant in Booklover Weekend (“Guest”). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions, including cancellation, refund, and transfer policies.
Article 1 – Confirmation
To purchase a Booklover Weekend ticket, you must complete the registration process via the website or email. Upon completing payment, you will receive a confirmation email outlining your registration details.
Organizer may require additional information to finalize arrangements.
Itinerary details, venue information, and other updates will be communicated prior to the retreat but are subject to change at the Organizer’s discretion.
Article 2 – Payment Plans & Fees
Tickets purchased via an upfront payment may qualify for partial refunds under the Cancellations & Refunds policy.
Article 3 – Cancellations, Transfers, & Refunds
Cancellations:
30+ Days Before the Retreat:
Organizer will attempt to resell your ticket to the community.
If the ticket is resold, you will receive a refund for the amount paid, less a $75 processing fee.
If the ticket is not resold, you will receive 50% of the ticket value, less the $75 processing fee.
Less Than 10 Days Before the Retreat:
No transfers, reselling, or refunds will be permitted under any circumstances.
Ticket Transfers:
Tickets may be transferred to another attendee with a $75 processing fee, provided the transfer occurs 30+ days before the retreat.
Transfers are prohibited within 60 days of the retreat start date.
Tickets are eligible for a partial refund (50% of the amount paid, less a $75 processing fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the retreat and the ticket cannot be resold.
If the ticket is resold more than 30 days before the retreat, the original buyer will be refunded the full amount paid, less a $75 processing fee.
Tickets are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 10 days of the retreat, and Fabled Bookshop & Cafe will not attempt to resell the ticket.
Article 4 – Inclusions & Changes
Your ticket includes only the items explicitly listed on the sales page at the time of purchase.
Fabled is not responsible for any lodging for any attendee in any way. Every ticket holder and/or attendee is responsible for their own lodging payments, terms, cancellations, or changes and will not hold Fabled responsible for this in any way.
Organizer reserves the right to modify the itinerary, accommodations, and activities due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, vendor availability, or safety concerns.
Article 5 – Liability Waiver
You acknowledge and agree that participation in the retreat is voluntary.
You waive and release all claims against Fabled Bookshop & Cafe for any injuries, illnesses, property damage, or other losses incurred during or as a result of the retreat.
This waiver extends to any activities facilitated by third-party vendors, including but not limited to excursions, transportation, or lodging.
Article 6 – Media Release
By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and grant the Organizer rights to use such media for promotional purposes.
Personal contact information (e.g., address, phone number) will not be shared or published.
Article 7 – Prohibited Activities
Guests agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or harm other attendees or staff.
Violate any local laws or regulations.
Resell or transfer tickets in violation of these Terms & Conditions.
Article 8 – Governing Law & Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas in the United States of America.
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in the United States.
Article 9 – Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Article 10 – Agreement Modifications
The Organizer reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The terms applicable to your ticket purchase are those in effect at the time of purchase.
